Halloween 2008

This year Cooder decided to be a fireman for Halloween! We found the costume but thought it was missing something, so we paired black pants and black boots with it. It still needed a little more authenticity so... we took ashes from the fire place and rubbed it all over the costume from head to toe. We put his name on his helmet and also on the back of the jacket and we gave him the "smoky look" by smearing black makeup on his face and hands! He looked soooo cute! A true hero! Take a look for yourself! He was allowed to wear the costume to school, what fun that was!!! It was a joy to see all the kids in their pretend for a day wear! Once Daniel came home, we drove into town and took Cooder to the main street where all the businesses were set up outside awaiting trick or treaters. There were thousands of people there, many in costumes and ranging in ages. Cooder said his share of trick or treats in exchange for something sweet and we called it a night! He came home with quite a bit of goodies to snack on for some time!
